Thermoseal Firespec and Facing Foils
Bradford Thermoseal offers a wide range of facing foils that provide an additional layer of reflective insulation on glasswool products.
Additionally, Bradford Anticon is approved by the National Asthma Council’s Sensitive Choice® Program and that means it’s recommended for asthma and allergy sufferers.
Bradford Thermoseal Firespec is deemed non-combustible and meets the ‘Deemed-To-Satisfy’ compliance requirements of the BCA 2016 Volume 1.Thermoseal Firespec is suitable for use in non-combustible external walls.
Features and Benefits

Applications
Bradford Thermoseal Firespec is deemed non-combustible and is suitable for use in non-combustible external walls where the use of a medium vapour barrier product will not increase condensation risk – seek expert advice if in doubt.

Fireseal
Bradford Firesea range offers Rockwool fire protection insulation products specifically designed to meet the BCA fire requirements, as well as Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) rated products for bush fire prone areas.
The Bradford Fireseal range is made from non-combustible Rockwool, an insulation material specially formulated to provide fire protection. It is manufactured by spinning a molten mixture of natural rock and recycled blast furnace waste products into fibres which are bonded with a thermosetting resin.
The Bradford Fireseal range includes products that meet fire regulations for specific applications, such as:
- Party walls
- Curtain walls
- BAL – 12.5 to BAL – 40 and BAL – FZ rated
- Damper strips
