Typical Applications

Gyprock Ultra-AP is typically used for each coat in a three coat jointing system in residential and commercial walls and ceilings. With ultra-strong tape adhesion for tape and second coats, it is ideal for internal angles and, while it can be hand applied, it flows smoothly through mud boxes, automatic tapers and other machine tools.

Ultra-AP is a versatile all-purpose jointing compound used for all coats in a three coat jointing system. This low VOC formulation is available in a convenient premixed form that has been developed to provide exceptional tape adhesion. This is combined with excellent sandability when used as a top coat. Its ultra-low shrinkage and fast drying make it ideal for hot and dry conditions.

Each coat dries and hardens in approximately 24 hours ready for recoating or sanding.

Gyprock Ultra-AP is manufactured by CSR Gyprock in Australia to stringent product specifications.

Product Handling

Transportation and manual handling: Refer to the Gypsum Board Manufacturers of Australia (GBMA) website for recommended OH&S practices.

Storage: Store buckets of compound in a dry environment out of direct sunlight. Remove lid and stir prior to use. Unused product should be stored by resealing the original bucket. Remix prior to use. Discard if drying has commenced.
